Poe was traveling from Richmond, California to Baltimore, Maryland. Poe was already sick when he left Richmond. He wasn't worried about the cold and wind. Poe couldn't remember if he was bit by a animal that had rabies or not. He was found in the Gunner's Hall in Baltimore, Maryland.

When Poe was found he was driven to the hospital of Washington Medical College, that is set on the highest ground in Baltimore, Maryland. Poe wanted to locate his family. So they called his family. His Uncle by marriage came to the hospital. His Uncle by marriage name is Henry Herring.

Poe Uncle Henry from marriage didn't want to do anything for Poe. Poe Uncle Henry suggested that he goes to another hospital. Poe was always drunk, that's what Henry says. They had a conflict inbetween each other. Poe was not sick from drinking so much.

Poe wanted more of his family to come. They had came to see him. Then only one of two of the Herrings daugthers came. Poe was sick and was dieing. It seemed like no one cared about Poe.
