Wilmer Merlos English 2 final exam

The most cridible moment that I thought was when poe was bitten or scratched by an animal and thrown to the street. He was found by a bar, supposably drunk. But they didn't know that he was bitten by an animal.
The people that found poe thought he was crazy because of the clothes he was wearing, his clothes was wrinkly and messed up. So they took him to the hospital. Neilson, who hated poe went to go visit him at the hospital. Poe stayed at the hospital for 4 days until he died. The date when he died was on october 7th, 1849. Poe died of rabies because of the animal that bit him. But the doctors thought he died because of alcohol poisoning. Some other people thought he died because of inflammation to the brain.
Some more information about poe is that he couldn't drink or else he would get sick for days. He was gone for a long time and he wasn't wearing his own clothes, he was wearing sombody else's.
